Acronyms
Officers and cadets use a lot of acronyms during parade and other cadets activities. The link below can assist you in translating most of them.
How can parents/guardians stay involved?
Parental involvement and fundraising activities are essential for the ongoing success of the squadron. The Parent Information Package helps you and your cadet make the most of the air cadet program.
Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC)
The Squadron Sponsoring Committee, made up of parents, guardians and supporters, is responsible to provide the Commanding Officer, officers and cadets with the resources they need to conduct optional training and opportunities in the community. It is the SSC’s responsibility to provide the funding for many of the activities directly or indirectly that impact the Cadets.
